Over all a very friendly staff, roads in the park are a little narrow but sites are large and shaded as well as large shrubs on both sides so it give you a feeling of being alone. Trash is picked up from in front of sites daily, the only draw back is some of the sites have old utility connections requiring you to get on your knees to hook up and the boxes are sharp enough to cut you ( personal experience) over all thou pleasant stay and would stay again.

This is a small park right on the river and directly under I-35 the site are level, the staffs friendly, can't get any closer to the freeway to get back on. The directions to get there are a bit convoluted regardless of what books i used to get there but we finely found it, grounds are immaculate . The only reason I gave this park a 5 is because of the noise both cars and trains.

Staff very professional not rude not friendly just professional. Sites are gravel with bumpy roads that are being patched over and over, lots of ground cover but no grass. Laundry and game room are nice and a new bathhouse is being built. The old bath houses are very dated. There appears to be 2 sections of the park one for the perms and one for the travelers. Good electricity and water and cable. The main problem I have with the park and the reason for the 5 is that for the price it should be a lot better

Sites on creek are not 50 amp not all sites are satellite friendly only those at back of park awkward to get into and out of but staff is very friendly given the other parks in the area this is by far the best there is small store but very little in it you are at the edge of the downtown area so all the tourist traps are within walking distance. is an easy drive to all the nature sights and they can make the stay worthwhile. We would stay here again.

It is an old park and not well maintained. The roads are horrible sites just barely big enough for a 37 ft with small toad. The tree limbs need to be trimmed up higher as I hit the limbs going in and coming out. The staff is friendly. It is a good place for just a overnight stay. They say they have cable but couldn't find it and wifi is only at the office and laundry.

Would have given them a higher rating but the electricity went put 3 times in the afternoon. Good level sites long although you toad will be slanting down on a hill if you are in the pull thrus friendly and fairly quiet even thou you are just above a truck stop even tho it says you are in Kingman it is about 20 miles east of town.

An ok campground with a very different space arrangement. We would go back. It has friendly staff and is close to ocean: when the fog is not in, you can see Morro Rock. All sand sites: the one we had was not level so we had to use leveling blocks (site 120). It did have good electricity and water pressure.

This is nothing bigger then a large asphalt parking lot with utilities placed so all spots are side-by-side and so close together that you literally have to watch your neighbor getting out of their coach. We had a family affair in Pacifica and would not have stayed here but for this. There are some coaches that have been here so long, they are starting to rust and probably could not be moved if they had to. I would hate to see a fire start as it would spread quickly to all the park. In over 30 years of camping, we have never stayed in a place this bad and will not stay here again. Will stay out of the area and drive in.

My biggest complaint is the Wi-Fi only works in the laundry or the club house is is an open site and they don't want to broadcast it i guess. Some of the sites are very close together but the length is fine, sites are level pea gravel, water, and electric are good. Some road noise but not bad. Office staff very friendly.

This park has 3 different areas the newest one is very nice and spacious, the next newest has some trees and the oldest part (where we were) has large trees and very narrow sites. Our site had trees so close we could not put out the awning and would have hit our neighbor if we could have. The sites were muddy sand and clay even though we stayed there 4 days it never dried up the shade trees touched the coach and birds roosted in them at night leaving their mess around and on every thing, Might stay here again but not in this section

A very nice park with good water and steady Electric. It is close to the shores of Lake Eufala and a nice nature trail. There is a good breakfast and friendly staff. The big down side even though wifi is advertised we were on the back row and could not receive it as the antenna is at the laundry room. That location and the office seem to be the only place you can receive the wifi signal.

We camped here on a hot day and then we lost 50 amp and were running on 30 amp for a good part of the hottest part of the day before it was fixed and 50 amp came back. The dog rules are great. They advertise free WIFI and it is free for 1/2 hr 3 times a day and then it is shut off so if you need to do any thing that takes more the 1/2 hr forget it. the staff is friendly and we probably will return

The first site we were given I knew would not be level and asked the escort to stick around while I used the levelers. When they quit my front wheels were off the ground and he could see them and moved us to a site that was more level. This worked good. Some of the sites are side by side which given the age of the park didn't surprise me. Over all a typical old KOA not too noisy. Clean. Friendly staff.

I only rated this park low because it is under construction and not every thing is open after a fire destroyed the office. It also looks like they have recently redone the 50 amp area. (They did discount the rate by $10 because they were not able to give every thing that was advertised.) Not all the restrooms were open yet and not all the dumpsters shown on the map are there. Nice couple running the place (work campers).

I agree that this a parking lot with large number of rules. There is no dog run and the rules state if you have to walk your dog do it toward the ocean not in the park. When checking in we were given a site with no electricity and had to move. The utilities connections are too far back to allow easy hookup within the 10 foot from the fence which separates you from the school. Probably would not stay here again even thou the manager was friendly (except when I told the manager my electric did not work).

This is a nice park. While they do allow kids I wouldn't call it kid friendly as there is nothing for kids except one slide and spring toy in a sand box. But if you are adult it is a great park. We have stayed here before and will stay again if in the area.

Good level grounds, good power pedestal, staff polite but not overly friendly. Restrooms are dated doors on showers broken or bent no place in shower to change must do it in main area. Ok for a overnight but probably wouldn't stay there again.

This is not the first time we stayed here, and it won't be the last. The owners are as friendly as any that we've seen. Your dogs get treats as well as you on check in. They have a pet area where your pet can run off leash. This is in the middle of lava flats so not much in the way of vegetation. It has has good electricity, but the TV cable is in the wrong end of the sites from rest of utilities.

If you like a big parking lot this is the place for you. You must use blocks under your levelers. Tthe pool is across the street about 2 blocks away. The office is across the street. The staff is friendly. I would stay here again only to ride the train. The best thing going, the park it is downtown.

This is one of the nicest places we have been. The paper is delivered every day. It has great dining. Office looks like a hotel when you walk in. We will stay here again when we are in Bakersfield. My reason for a nine instead of a 10 is no escort to site which I found surprising given the rest of the amenities.

Sites are small. We have camped here before, and have not been unhappy with it. This time we couldn't get leveled. There was a traffic cone in the site marking that this was a reserved site, so we had to get out and move it so we could get in. There was good electric, and clean bathrooms, but we didn't hookup water. We did notice the road noise all night, so that was a minor turnoff. I would stay there again, but this is just an overnight park, not a destination one.

While this park has many things to like about it, it looks like it wants to be a resort and not an RV park. The roads are very tight and trees are all over (one had even fallen and crunched a mobile home). The park has all of the water view sites taken by long term residents, so there are only 6 sites avail for weekenders, so you have no view at all. The park pavilion is right next to the RV sites, and there is no parking, so the users of the pavilion park in front of your rig, and if you want out forget it. People will wander through your sites even when sitting outside. Quiet time is not enforced. We will not camp here again.

This is a very clean, well kept park. It has good Wi-Fi, good cable, and nice pull through all gravel sites. There is a good store, but about average for most KOA's. It is good for overnight, but not a destination park.

This is a park that is not for everyone. You have 50 sites on 36 acres of land with the river on one edge of the park. The roads are dirt, and the trees need trimmed, but the sites are level, and we have never camped in a spot where there was so much room between rigs. The atmosphere was as trusting as anywhere we have ever been. If you want ice take a bag and fill it up at the ice machine and leave $1.50 on top. Want to use the washer and dryer; leave $3.00 on the top when you are finished. The grounds were very well kept, and if you like fishing there is plenty of river to fish in. All that being said this is not for everyone. If you want a resort, this is not it. If dogs running loose bothers you, don't come here. This is in the forest and the dogs are used to keep critters out, but they are very friendly to people and other dogs. If you are looking for an RV resort, this is not it as the name implies. It is a campground that happens to have RV spaces in it. There is no store to speak of so bring all you need. The water pressure and electric service was good. There was one TV channel over the air; no cable. We will camp there again.

This is a brand new park, and some of what they advertise is not yet there, but they are not discounting anything. The pull-through sites are a gravel parking lot; no shade except for 1 old tree. At one end of the 7 spaces are some water only sites on the lake. The store is open and so is the putt putt golf. Carry everything you need as the store has all the Jellystone things but not much else. We drove through before we brought the motorhome up, and the wife said no way were we camping there.

This was a very good park and very friendly workers. There is a large number of work campers taking constant care of the place. There are many sites that have been taken over by cabins including about half the river front sites, but they seem to blend in with the site area. There are a large number of activities for kids to be supervised and not. The reason for a 9 and not a 10 is the only dumpster is at the end of a road about a third of a mile away from the camp ground. With all the workers they could have trash cans closer and just dump them once a day or so.

The pros: First, every site has its own deck on the lake. Grounds are well kept. There is the best cable TV we have had in a long time, and there is a very friendly staff. The cons: There is no store or restrooms. It has a club house that needs some work. The water is hard to hook up as some of them are almost too close to the ground. This park was set up originally for all class A's, and they have let 5ers and travel trailers in. Unfortunately those have to back in and class A's have to back out of the sites. Some of them are very tight. Our neighbor had to open his awning against a tree, and we couldn't open ours because he was there first. The sites are all different sizes; some of them small, some of them very large. The best views are in the A section. The C section has a view of the other side of the creek and catches the evening sun head on. We would probably stay there again but only if we were on the A side.

The owners are extremely friendly. The campground has 2 levels, one bottom level for tents and pop-ups. It was easy to get into. The owners were as friendly as I have seen in a long time. They went out of their way to help us. The only problem was the lights on the canoes as they run a canoing business. The restrooms have combination locks, and they are one small room with 1 stool, 1 sink and one shower with all being on the same floor (no shower pan) which is unusual.

This is a very nice, easy to get into park. The site directions were good (but no office help to get there), but easy to find. The utilities were as good for hook up as I have ever seen. Sites were level, and each one in this camp ground was clean. The reason I only gave this a 7 is they advertise cable, but the only cable you get is worse than off the air stations, and they are the same ones on the cable. This explains why there were so many satellite dishes around. We were here for a rally and would come again.

This is an old park with lots of trees. It is very hard to drive through, and we saw several trees that had been hit so you had better go slow. We saw one camper who had to have lots of help getting into his site. Sites are rocky with too many trees for satellite TV service. We probably would not camp here again.

It was easy to park here. We got cookies for us and the dogs. This is a pure gravel park which given the area is not surprising. We would stay here again.

This is a nice stop over park. It is a typical KOA. Even though it is close to the highway there is not much noise. We stopped here 20 yrs ago and it hasn't changed at all except they added the KOA cabins. We would stay there again.
